Jian Lu (originally JianQiao Lu) is a Chinese-born New-York-based makeup artist. After graduating from Fudan University in Shanghai, Jian came to New York in 2018 and pursued his degree in theatre at Columbia University. Emerged in lighting and costume, Jian soon recollected his love for fashion and beauty. Following the true calling, Jian made the shift from a stage manager to a makeup artist. Along the way, Jian works under industry top makeup artist and works on major campaigns and red carpets; Jian teams up with young artists to create unforgettable shoots and shows. Jian continues to learn and grow. Humble and professional, he is destined to find true beauty.
